What is nohup command

As you know, if you close or logout from terminal/shell all runninng processes will be closed( ended up ). So if you want to contiue the execution of process even after closing or logging out terminal/shell , then we need to use nohup command.

Nohup runs any command without hangups even after closing terminal

The nohup command can also be used to run programs in the background after logging off from terminal. To run a nohup command in the background, add an & (ampersand) to the end of the command
